Astro Pete has been running the Night Sky Tours for just a few years, but he has been taking his telescopes out into the public for many years. With over 15 years of experience in studying the night sky and building large Dobsonian telescopes. Astro Pete loves sharing the joy and wonders of the night sky through his handmade telescope with anyone who is interested. Thousands of eyes have now looked through the large 20inch Dobsonian telescope. So come experience a guided tour around the night sky and see some fantastic sights through large aperture telescopes. Viewing objects such as the moon, the planets, stars and some deep-sky objects like star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. This year at Elementary Festival the moon will be full so some of the fainter deep sky objects won’t be visible. But, July this year is a great month to view the planets. So let’s all keep our fingers crossed for clear skies.
